River North Art District (RiNo) is one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Denver! Founded in 2005, RiNo is a designated Art District that nurtures a creative community and supports the arts. The area is known for its walkability, outstanding art galleries, award-winning restaurants, unique breweries, and more. Below is my list of some of the best hidden gems RiNo has to offer!

Walnut Workshop - This is by far the most unique space on the list. Walnut Workshop is a large warehouse with an appealing industrial vibe. This mixed-use space hosts many artist studios, workspaces, and retail shops. They are open every First Friday for RiNo’s art walk and host various events throughout the year.

As you stroll through each gallery, you can sip complimentary drinks and enjoy RiNo’s bustling local art scene. The artwork in this building is fantastic, and there is always something exciting to see or do here.

Brasserie Brixton - This building is truly a hidden gem, tucked away on an unassuming residential street within RiNo. Brasserie Brixton offers various French dishes such as Chicken Fricassee, made with boursin pomme puree, roasted mushrooms, cipollini onions, and chicken confit.

The space is intimate and warm, with limited seating and an open chef’s kitchen. Brasserie Brixton is a perfect spot for a date-night or celebration of any kind. Next door to the space is another local favorite Yacht Club, which was recently recognized as one of the best cocktail bars in the nation!

Zeppelin Station - Hidden behind the bustling street of Brighton Boulevard, this food hall and event space is the perfect place to visit if you’re exploring RiNo. Patrons can enjoy specialty roast coffee, authentic Mexican food, hand-rolled sushi, a full bar and more.

What sets this food hall apart from the rest is the quality of events that take place atop the grand staircase near the entrance. You can attend a quirky holiday pop-up, an interactive horror mystery show, or unique immersive experience! Zeppelin Station is located right next to 38th & Blake RTD Station (light rail), which takes you straight to the Denver International Airport, or Union Station in downtown Denver.
